As Danbury pursues major projects, overdue audits are ‘biggest priority’

DANBURY — The city needs to complete its overdue financial audits as it prepares to issue $49 million in new voter-approved bonds to build a new west side fire station, launch a citywide road improvement program and outfit the police department headquarters with a new video surveillance system, leaders said.
